Life can be really discouraging sometimes. You look at yourself and wonder what is it that you are doing wrong? The truth is, there is nothing you are doing wrong, apart from; comparing yourself to others. I was caught up in the same web until recently when I changed my perspective and decided to look at myself differently. My Unforgettable 2017 in Review: Part I

The year started off on a good note. My husband and I went to church on new years eve and spend the entire night there. We had a wonderful worship service and returned to our home around 5 am the following morning. It was awesome. We both love God so much and we always want to be in His presence. I have had my own share of failures. It all began in 2012. Before I let you in on the details, I want to talk about God. He is a caring person and His only requirement from us is that we walk in His sight blameless and believe His word, believe that He is a re-warder of those who seek Him. I have loved God since I was a little girl. Then, I didn't understand what salvation was but I loved Him still. I had a great life, went to high school, passed very well and then I was lucky enough to join the University of Nairobi for my bachelors degree...we were not well off so I had to work during the day and attend classes in the evening. NAOMI-A GREAT WOMAN

Imagine losing everything within a very short period of time, your husband, your sons; I will probably lose the will to continue living. Depression and stress will become part of our lives (to most of us), especially if you don’t have any friends or family to lean on. This is what happened to Naomi. Before we dive more into her story, here is a little bit about what happened to me, few years ago…. Love is a special thing. When you have love, you have almost everything and you believe that you can conquer everything. I had a very special friend whom I valued a lot. Being a young woman, full of energy and dreams, I gave my all to the relationship little did I know that it was doomed to fail. My case is different from that of Naomi. She had a husband.
