Monkey see................monkey do!

As I was travelling to work today, I saw bus that operates on our roads stuck in the mad because it was trying to take a short. On looking at it and the situation surrounding it, I got a full picture of just how life is.

Life is never a straight line. Even millionaires like Chris Kirubi and Mrs. Esther Muchemi have said in many of the interviews that we have read in newspapers and other print media that they did not just make it in life overnight. They had to take the stairs and not the elevator.  Life is full of ups and downs; you may decide to take a short cut to make it straight only to realize that if you had taken the other route you probably would have been at a different and better place than where you are at the moment.

That bus tried to take a short cut in order to get to its destination faster. Instead it got stuck in the mad, wasting more time and even money to pull it out. This situation could have been avoided. The other reason that could probably have made the driver to make that decision was because other buses also do it. This is not the only scenario that I have observed. It does happen mostly on our roads during rush hours.

Many vehicles overtake and overlap. Others get caught by traffic police officers for breaking traffic rules and regulations; others get lucky and make it on time without experiencing mishaps along the way.

When God created us, He says in Jeremiah 1: 5 that “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born, I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations”

No matter how long the journey takes, no matter how tiring the period might seem, no matter how many friends you might lose on the way, it does not matter how many enemies you will gain on your way up, take the stairs, do not be like that bus and you will reach your destination.

Do not be a copy cat!
