WALK BLAMELESS BEFORE GOD

I was studying the story of Abraham today and it got me thinking. Before being named Abraham, he was just an ordinary man, born and raised in an ordinary family. What made him different was the fact that he walked blameless before God.  Then came his turning point, from being an ordinary man to an extra-ordinary man.
GENESIS 12:1-3
“ Now the Lord said to Abram, Go forth from your country, and from your relatives, and from your father’s house, to the land which I will show you; and I will make you a great nation, and I will bless you, and make your name great; and so you shall be a blessing; and I will bless those who bless you and the one who curses you, I will curse and in you all the families of the earth will be blessed.”
Our God has the power to transform our lives, to fulfill our hearts desires if only we walk blameless before him. Yes, the fact is we live in the world and at some point, we stumble and fall but our God is merciful. He does not abandon us. He fought and protected Abraham, his nephew was also saved from destruction at Sodom and Gomorrah because of him.
Dear brothers and sisters, if we walk before God and walk blameless, our family members will be saved, our households will be protected, and our generations will be prosperous.
How can we learn to walk blameless before God? You ask. Well, we can start by reading His word, Joshua 1:8 says that “This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success.”
So there you have it friends, you may not actually understand what God is saying to you through His word but with prayer and guidance from the Holy Spirit, things will start unfolding. As they say, a journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step. Let us join hands and keep each other in prayer and we will reach our destiny.
